Mission

The David Lynch Foundation Switzerland pursues primarily educational and humanitarian objectives. It aims to contribute to the improvement of public health and social well-being through the application and promotion of scientifically validated consciousness technologies—particularly programs involving Transcendental Meditation.

These techniques are intended to enable individuals and organizations to overcome stress-related health issues and to build both physical and psychological resilience. A central aspect of the foundation's work is to promote the development of consciousness to foster inner peace, personal growth, and enhance creativity and intelligence.

In line with Switzerland’s tradition of humanitarian aid and peace promotion, the foundation supports local and international projects that create coherence, harmony, and peace in society, thereby contributing to the prevention of conflict and violence as well as to economic development.

The foundation may carry out any supporting and operational activities that fall within or are related to its stated purpose. It may cooperate with, establish, or support other organizations, institutions, and third parties.

The foundation is politically and religiously neutral and operates exclusively in the public interest. It does not pursue profit-making, self-help, or religious objectives. The foundation’s earnings and assets are dedicated solely to the above-mentioned purposes. It fulfills its mission both in Switzerland and abroad.

In terms of governance and management, the foundation will be guided by reference standards that reflect best practices, such as the Swiss Foundation Code.
