Projects of the David Lynch Foundation Switzerland

Private Schools in Switzerland

Students in private schools are only included in consciousness-based projects once the school administration and teachers have seen success with pilot projects and parents support such an initiative for their children.
Specifically, at one private school, the school administration and 20 teachers have started such a project to learn transcendental meditation. The results are being continuously evaluated and are promising. Over 90% of the teachers participate in follow-up meetings and recommend the use of the TM (Transcendental Meditation) deep relaxation technique.

Individuals in Need

Support in Switzerland has also begun for individuals. Currently, this concerns people struggling with mental health issues. Initial coaching sessions are also being conducted with migrants holding an S residence permit (refugees). The TM technique has proven to be particularly effective in cases of burnout and in assisting with post-traumatic stress disorders.

Project Congo

We are working in eastern Congo with three project partners who teach the TM technique to internally displaced people and other victims of violence, helping them regain emotional stability and joy in life after their traumatic experiences. Many schools are using TM in the classroom to reduce stress and trauma, and to enhance learning ability and the inner potential of individuals. Over the past two years, 16,000 adults and young people have already been helped in this way.
